- Menstruation isn't just negative! It's the ultimat
- I'm sure some of you experience discomfort during your monthly periods, such as feeling heavy in the abdomen and lower back, increased bloating and sensitivity to cold, and mood swings.
However, menstruation isn't just about negatives; it's also a detox period that helps eliminate excess substances from your body!
Many people who usually suffer from constipation find that their bowel movements improve during menstruation. It's not just accumulated waste but also excess oils, sugars, and fluids in the body that detoxify during this time. The reason for bloating and constipation before menstruation is the hormone progesterone becoming active. However, once menstruation begins, progesterone secretion decreases, and estrogen becomes more active!
Estrogen helps flush out the excess substances accumulated by progesterone along with menstrual blood, marking the prime detox period!
During this prime detox period, taking good care of your body enhances the detoxification effects! For example, using high-frequency or radio wave machines at an esthetician to warm and promote circulation, staying hydrated, consuming nutrient-rich fruits, salads, and proteins are beneficial!
