Hello everyone, Lady Luck here!
Today, I'm addressing the number one skin concern among our clients: Pores!
Many people struggle with pore issues, and almost all our clients mark it as a concern during their initial consultation. Unfortunately, many are also using incorrect pore care methods.
Here are common mistakes and how to solve them:
Using pore strips: Many have used adhesive strips to peel away dirt and blackheads from around the nose. While it may feel satisfying to see immediate results, these strips can physically stress the skin, potentially leading to enlarged pores.
Using tools to extract blackheads: Physically pushing out dirt from pores can be harsh on the skin, causing pain and potentially making pores larger. Instead, we recommend professional "pore extraction" by a trained therapist.
Over-washing and using astringents: It's important to avoid over-stripping essential oils with harsh face washes and relying only on toners for hydration. The key is using skin-type appropriate cleansers and moisturizers that remove dirt while maintaining hydration.
