These are very common concerns among our clients.
Acne is not caused by skincare alone. Daily habits such as diet, sleep, stress, and gut health play a major role. In this article, we share the basic acne-care principles that our skin professionals explain to clients who are looking for a trusted esthetic salon in Osaka. With the right knowledge, you can start building skin that is less prone to breakouts.
1. Unbalanced Diet
People with acne often eat too much oily food or mainly carbohydrates. Fatty foods and spicy ingredients stimulate excess sebum.
High-GI foods like white rice, white bread, noodles, and sweets rapidly raise blood sugar, increasing insulin, which stimulates oil glands and leads to acne. If possible, switch to brown rice or rye bread.
2. Lack of Sleep & Stress
Growth hormone, essential for skin repair, is released during sleep. Poor sleep slows skin recovery and delays acne healing. Aim for 6-7 hours of quality sleep.
3. Constipation & Gut Health
When the gut is unhealthy, toxins can be absorbed into the body, causing acne and dull skin. Adequate fiber and hydration are key.
4. Dryness & Incorrect Skincare
Dry skin produces excess oil to protect itself, leading to clogged pores. Makeup residue from improper cleansing can also cause breakouts. Use gentle cleansing and washing suited to your skin type.
