- Anti-Aging Starts Today: Sunscreen Is a Must Even
Hello everyone. This is Kojo from Lady Luck.
Did you know that skipping sunscreen on cloudy or rainy days can still cause skin aging? Ultraviolet rays are present all year round, even when the sun is not visible. Without daily protection, your skin can develop dark spots, wrinkles, and sagging in five to ten years.
In Japan, applying sunscreen every day is considered basic skincare. Just like cleansing and moisturizing, sunscreen should be used three hundred sixty five days a year to protect healthy and youthful skin.
To use sunscreen effectively, there are three important points.
First, choose a product that matches your skin type, just like other skincare items.
Second, makeup base alone cannot protect your skin. Sunscreen should be applied after skincare and before makeup.
Third, apply sunscreen about thirty minutes before going outside so it can fully absorb and work properly.
Ultraviolet rays also reflect from roads, water, sand, and even indoors through blue light from computers and smartphones. This means sunscreen is recommended even when staying inside.
