北中城・和仁屋の丘の上にある美容室 ras. design studio です。
この場所は、築1965年の外人住宅をベースにした、少し不思議な“時間の残る家”。
壁や建具、電気の名残まで、当時の暮らしのレイヤーがそのまま残っています。
ras.は、髪を整えるだけの場所というより、少し深呼吸できる「創造の隠れ家」を目指しています。
東京で10年、海外で10年、環境の違う現場で経験を積んできました。
技術面では、とくに繊細なヘアカラーや、質感を崩さない調整が得意です。派手さよりも、日常の中でじわっと効いてくる上品さを大切にしています。
このブログでは、スタイル紹介だけじゃなく、
この家のこと、道具のこと、髪のこと、沖縄のこと…そんな“背景”も短く毎日書いていきます。

Hello, and welcome.
I’m the owner-stylist at ras. design studio, a quiet hair space on a hill in Waniya, Kitanakagusuku, Okinawa.
Our studio sits inside a vintage American-era house built in 1965 ― a place with real history in its walls, doors, and even the old electrical details that still remain. We’re not trying to be “loud” or trendy here. ras. is designed as a calm, creative hideout ― a place to slow down, reset, and leave feeling quietly refined.
I’ve spent 10 years working in Tokyo and 10 years overseas, learning in very different environments and bringing those lessons into every service. I’m especially focused on nuanced colour work, tone control, and maintaining a clean, natural texture ― the kind of finish that looks better in real life, day after day, not just under salon lighting.
On this blog, I’ll share short daily notes ― not only styles and updates, but also the story behind this house, the tools we use, and the small details that shape the experience here.
